My teaching philosophy starts with trying to see the classroom from the student perspective. I’ve been on both sides—as a student and an instructor—and I know how much it matters when students feel seen, supported, and understood. I aim to create a classroom that’s inclusive, engaging, and responsive, where student feedback genuinely shapes how the course evolves.

Just as important, I want students to learn how to learn—not just how to study for a test. Many students come in without those tools, so I work to build a space where they can take risks, make mistakes, and grow from them. Real learning doesn’t happen from getting everything right the first time; it happens by pushing just outside your comfort zone.

Across all my courses, I prioritize curiosity, critical thinking, and a growth mindset over memorization. My goal is to help students leave not just with content knowledge, but with the confidence and skills to keep learning long after the course ends.
